What to expect

A coastal path section of the Cleveland Way links Whitby with Robin Hood's Bay, a distance of about seven miles. The route follows clifftops and passes lighthouses, beaches and farmland, ending in one of the prettiest fishing villages on the coast. There are ups and downs, and some muddy stretches, so allow plenty of time and plan your return.
