Laugharne, pronounced Larn, is a small town on the Taf estuary in west Wales, and the home of the poet Dylan Thomas, who lived and wrote here at the end of his life. The town is believed to be one of the inspirations for the fictional village in his radio play Under Milk Wood.
You can visit his boathouse and the small writing shed where he worked, see the castle that J. M. W. Turner painted and walk the estuary paths.
