Boscastle is a tiny, ancient harbour on the north Cornwall coast, reached along a narrow, winding inlet between steep cliffs. It is one of the most unusual harbours in Britain, and a sheltered, wooded valley runs inland from it.
The village is best known for its Museum of Witchcraft and Magic and for the devastating flood of 2004, and it makes a good base for coast path walks.
