What to expect
The Seven Sisters are a row of white chalk cliffs on the Sussex coast, between Seaford and Eastbourne. A popular walk runs from Cuckmere Haven up and down the cliffs to Birling Gap and on towards Beachy Head. The ups and downs are steeper than they look. The cliffs are eroding, so keep well back from the edges.
Tips before you go
- Stay well back from the crumbling cliff edge.
- Check tide times if you plan to walk on the beach.
- Buses connect the coast with Brighton and Eastbourne.
