Chester's walls are some of the best-preserved Roman and medieval city walls in Britain, and you can walk almost the whole circuit of around two miles. The walk passes the Eastgate Clock, the cathedral and views over the racecourse and River Dee. Much of it is level, with steps at gates, and you can step off to explore the Rows below.
