What to expect
Chatsworth is one of the great country houses of England, the seat of the Duke of Devonshire, with sumptuous rooms, a big art collection and a landscaped park beside the River Derwent. The gardens are large and varied, with a famous cascade, a maze and a farmyard for children. It featured in Pride and Prejudice and other films and television dramas.
