What to expect
Talisker is the oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye, founded in 1830 and set beside Loch Harport in Carbost. Its peppery, maritime single malt is famous around the world, and tours show the stills and the warehouses before finishing with a tasting. The setting, with the Cuillin mountains above the loch, is superb.
